Welcome to the official Audio Campfires open source archive.

This code is being openly released on audiocampfires.com and is available for anyone to use, study, modify and build upon.

Audio Campfires demonstrates how username-free live conversations can be created using a lightweight web application and server.

The server can be run from a local PC for development and testing or deployed to a VPS (Virtual Private Server) for public use.

Low-cost VPS hosting plans can run large numbers of campfires while keeping operating costs low.
